Napa Valley and Healdsburg have art galleries.
Each town in the wine valley boasts a fantastic selection of boutique shops and art galleries. You may shop all day long in the areas surrounding Healdsburg Plaza, Sonoma Plaza, or Paso Robles City Park. Another excellent option is to antique. The benefit of travelling less in January is that you have more time to shop and find fantastic discounts. Follow the Art and Wine Lovers’ Trail in the Napa Valley if you wish to mix wine tasting with art.
Be sure to stop by the Paul Mahder art gallery in Healdsburg. In addition to having amazing artwork, the art gallery also offers wine tastings. Please visit the Grapeseed Wine Fund.
Visit Mendocino
The Pacific Coast hamlet of Mendocino is immensely charming, but getting there just enhances the experience. On the route to Mendocino, there lies the Anderson Valley. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Alsatian white wine cultivars are native to this region. The drive along Highway 128 to the seaside is beautiful. The Anderson Valley village of Boonville is delightful. We adore the vineyards we refer to as the “Big Three.” Even in the winter, picnicking among the vineyards is rejuvenating if you bring a lunch.
